                                               NOTICE

 

The Annual Membership Meeting of the Corpus Christi City Employees Credit Union will be held on Monday, March 19, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Sokol Hall at 5502 Kostoryz Road.  The meeting will be open to all Credit Union members and their guests.  If you are at least 18 years of age, a member in good standing, and are willing to serve as a Director; please call 855-4494 to request a Director Information Packet.  All applications for the three (3) Board of Director positions up for election must be completed and received at the credit union office by Monday, February 27, 2012 at 6:00 pm.

The Nominating Committee will review all prospective applications and select their nominations for the expired Director positions by March 02, 2012.  Any prospective applicant that is not selected by the Nominating Committee will be notified by Certified Mail that they will have until Friday, March 09, 2012 at 6:00 pm to notify the Secretary of the Board of Directors and request that their name be added to the ballot.  No names will be added to the ballot after the March 09, 2012 deadline and nominations for Directors positions will not be accepted from the floor at the Annual Meeting.  Voting will begin during the week of March 12 through March 16, 2012 at the 2140 Gollihar Road credit union office between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00 pm (10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Wednesday, March 14, 2012).  Members age 16 and over are eligible to vote.  Voting will be reopened at the Annual Meeting to allow members who did not vote earlier to cast their ballot.

 

So, join your friends and meet us at Sokol Hall, 5502 Kostoryz Road, on March 19th.  Refreshments will be served and members attending the meeting will be eligible to participate in the drawings for door prizes.  See you on March 19th! 

Important Information About Courtesy Pay Program Changes
Regulations now require you to opt-in to overdraft protection such as Courtesy Pay for ATM and Debit Card transactions. Courtesy Pay covers your transaction(s) when you don't have enough money in your checking account to pay the merchant. Effective December 1, 2011, Corpus Christi City Employees Credit Union will offer qualified members the option to have Courtesy Pay on their DebitCard.  Immediate Fraud Alert to our Members

It has come to our attention that several members have received e-mail messages from a City Employees Credit Union asking our members to confirm their banking details.  Members are being asked to click onto a link to provide the information.  The e-mail states that if you do not respond within 48 hours your account will be suspended. 

DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK.  Corpus Christi City Employees Credit Union will NEVER send you an e-mail like this asking for your account information.  If you should receive this e-mail please contact our office immediately at 361-855-4494 or 1-800-465-4494.  Internet scammers are attempting to phish information about your account so that they can use this information illegally. 

Be on the lookout for any e-mail received by you that is from City Employees Credit Union with a tag line "Where People and Families Come First"  and shows a logo depicting a city skyline with the letters CECU below the skyline outline.  It also shows Copyright 2008 City Employees Credit Union.  Again, DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL. Online Banking Security Enhancements
Security log-in enhancements have been initiated.  Please follow the instructions while logging into our Flex Teller online banking system and take a few minutes to complete the set-up process for these security enhancements.  It's quick and easy.  Call our Member Service Department at 855-4494 if you have any questions.  If you have not enrolled  for these new enhancements; you will be locked out of the Flex Teller online banking system until the security enhancement selections have been completed.

E- Statements Are Available !!!
E-Statements are available for viewing using our Flex Teller online banking system.  Log-in to online banking and click on the "statements" icon at the top of the page to view 4 years of statement activity.  You can view or print statements at your convenience.  We encourage members to use this convenient, fast, and  secure method of viewing statements instead of receiving your statement by mail.  Save a tree! Stop using paper statements and start enjoying e-statements.

Protect Against Identity Theft
